The Environmental Commission reviews matters of environmental importance to the City of Saline. It is made up of 7 members, appointed to 1-year terms.

We are citizens from Saline, honored to be actively involved in the administration of government in our city and passionately committed to safeguarding the natural environment in the place that we call home.

In addition to the 7 appointed Commissioners, the Environmental Commission receives a great deal of support and help from city staff and concerned community members who volunteer their time to serve on our subcommittees.

The Saline Environmental Commission meets the third Wednesday of each month in the council chambers at Saline City Hall, and all of our regular monthly meetings are open to the public. If you would like to get involved as a member of a Commission subcommittee, or would like to share your ideas or concerns with the Commission, please join us at our next meeting.
